Problems aplenty in Brickfields, say residents

Visually-impaired G. Gunabalan has little space to walk as illegal stalls are blocking a tactile path in Brickfields.

YEAR in and year out, the issue of blocked pathways, uneven floor tiles, poor drainage and lack of parking space make up the bulk of complaints Brickfields residents have for Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

This was evident during a walkabout organised by DBKL Civil Engineering and Urban Transportation Department director Thomas A.Richards on Oct 12, during the busiest time of the year for the area also known as Little India as Deepavali is around the corner.
