Landed homes recycle more

AN average four to five tonnes of recyclables are collected weekly by the Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP), said state Local Government Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow.

Chow said the Penang Island City Council’s (MBPP) weekly collection was between 1.3 and two tonnes from landed properties every Saturday since the waste segregation policy took effect in June.
