Report dirty restaurants


A restaurant worker in Brickfields was caught red handed washing dishes and throwing the waste water into the drain in the back lane, despite having a sink and a grease trap.

COCKROACHES, rats and filth continue to infiltrate food outlets in the city despite Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) numerous actions of closing down such places to ensure they are kept clean.

DBKL Health and Environment Department director Dr Hayati Abdullah said there was little that the local authority could do to stubborn operators who did not fear being ordered to close down.
