A SMALL shrine erected by Nepalese Gurkha soldiers of the British Commonwealth forces stationed at the Terendak Camp at Sungai Udang during the 1960s is being built, brick by brick into a grand temple, thanks to generous donors.
A diverse and colourful festival of dances celebrating the artistic and cultural heritage of the Indian community, to be showcased on Sept 3, provides another opportunity for donors to contribute to the building of the Sri Vanathandavar Temple.
