The winners walked away with sponsored products, cash vouchers, gifts, return air tickets to attend their respective pageants (accommodation and meals included) worth RM15,000.

Organised by Velvet Signature Sdn Bhd, the recent two-in-one pageant held at 1st Avenue Mall was presented by George Town Fashion Forward 2016.

Its creative director Ivan Choo said the panel of eight judges looked for inner and outer beauty, intelligence as well as charm and stage presence when scoring the participants.

“The winners will be representing Malaysia and need to have that special factor that makes them stand out.

“We want to encourage local talent and hope to have plenty of homegrown models on international platforms,” he said.
