Group wants back temple but endowment board says no

A GROUP wants the Penang Hindu Endowment Board (PHEB) to return the management of the Sree Selva Vinayagar Hindu Paripalana Devasthanam temple in Jalan Besar, Prai, to the committee which has previously managed the temple for 43 years.

Former temple trustee R. Ulaganathan, 57, claimed there was no dispute or conflict among the committee members before the board decided to take over the temple management in October last year.
