Up in arms over foreign worker dorms

Residents from Juru protesting the plan to build a hostel for foreign workers near the Bukit Minyak Industrial Park.

JURU residents are upset with the Penang government for planning to build dormitories for thousands of foreign workers in their neighbourhood.

The residents fear that the project at the proposed site near the Bukit Minyak Industrial Park would bring about various social problems.
