Not only will there be a live show featuring the well-loved characters, there will also be meet-and-greet sessions for fans.

The event will be held at Genting International Showroom from May 28 to June 26, with a June school holidays special show scheduled daily from 4pm to 9pm.

As a prelude to the live show, all five Power Rangers – Red, Black, Blue, Green and Pink – will be available to meet visitors at Resorts World Genting from today until May 1.

Fans hoping to catch a glimpse of their heroes can do so at noon, 3pm, 5pm and 8pm.

The million-ringgit Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016, is the first Power Rangers live show in South-East Asia and the first ever Dino Charge live show in the world.

The one-hour show will feature a Japanese and Malaysian cast and crew – 25 Japanese joining forces with 15 Malaysians to make the production a reality.

The live show is based on the two Power Rangers television series, the popular Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Dino Charge. The stage performance focuses on the battles between the Power Rangers and Sledge’s Army for the former’s magical Energems that hold invincible powers.

The Power Rangers, the five warriors chosen by the Energems to protect Earth and to prevent it from falling into evil hands, find themselves repeatedly engaged in battle with the villains, Fury, Poisandra and their sidekicks.

One of the Power Rangers, Pink, is captured by the villains – along with an Energem.

The fate of the world then lies in the hands of the rest of the Power Rangers – they have to free Pink and regain the Energem.

Will the Power Rangers save the day once more? Find out at the live show – and along the way, pick up memorabilia and take pictures with their heroes.

Photo sessions will be held before and after each show. There will also be a wide range of merchandise on sale – from costumes to T-shirts.
