KUCHING: The Opposition front in Sarawak has been operating as an “election pact” rather than a coalition for the last two elections, said Assoc Prof Dr Faisal S. Hazis.
“They just can’t come up with a working relationship. One reason is the absence of a unifying figure within the state Opposition. What we are seeing on Nomination Day is a manifestation of that,” said the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia academic, who heads the Centre for Asia Studies.
