WITH his lanky build, bright blue eyes and thick moustache, deacon Jerker Sandegard is a familiar face to many in Brickfields for the past 50 years.

The founder of Junior Work Ministry (JWM) in Malaysia, Sandegard is well-known for his work with local children during the 1960s.
