Coconut plantations hit by hot weather but prices of drink stay

THE hot and dry weather is taking a toll not only on the people but also on the supply of coconuts in Penang.

The supply from coconut plantations has been dropping over the last three weeks and many traders have to make do with fewer coconuts despite the high demand.
