FOR one day on March 21, restaurants and embassies in 150 countries across five continents will celebrate French gastronomy by inviting the public to “share a French dinner” through the Goût de France/ Good France campaign.
The campaign was inspired by Auguste Escoffier, who launched the “Dîners d’Épicure” (Epicurean Dinners) initiative in 1912 – the same menu on the same day, in several cities worldwide and for as many guests as possible.
