Consul-general bids farewell

THE Consul-General of Japan in Penang Ryuji Noda paid a courtesy call to Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir at his office recently.

Noda together with his deputy Hiroko Taniguchi met up with Dr Zambry for almost an-hour at the state secretariat building in Ipoh.

Noda said his visit to Ipoh was for the purpose of saying farewell before his departure back to Japan.

He is completing his term of duty as a consul-general in Penang this year.
