KUCHING: A new safety assurance label for electrical items in Sarawak has been introduced.
The Sirim-Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU) labels are more similar to ones already used in Sabah and peninsular Malaysia. Previously, labels between Sarawak and the rest of Malaysia were different.
