MALACCA: Portuguese-Eurasians commemorated Intrudo - the water splashing festival with much enthusiasm and gusto at their settlement in Ujong Pasir here.

Intrudo, which means ‘introduction” or “coming before” in Kristang (an old Portuguese dialect) is a tradition which dates back to the Portuguese conquest of Malacca in 1511.
