UNIVERSITI Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) Council chairman Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik was in Kampar on Thursday to present scholarships to recipients during a luncheon held at the university’s Perak campus.

Dr Ling had earlier briefed the 57 recipients on the various financial aid schemes available to them. Fifty three students received the Utar-UEC (United Examination Certificate) scholarships while four were former students of secondary schools in Pulau Ketam and other disadvantaged areas.
