Water theft at workers’ quarters

SYARIKAT Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) enforcement officers uncovered an illegal connection to the company’s main water pipe during a raid on the quarters of construction workers at Kampung Selamat, Jalan Subang Batu 12 1/2 in Sungai Buloh. The company is investigating it as water theft.

The main 150mm pipe had been tapped with a 20mm pipe leading to the quarters, which houses construction workers.
