LONG SUKANG: The Health Ministry needs to urgently upgrade the Long Sukang Clinic in the Bakelalan highlands in interior northern Sarawak.
This clinic caters to a population of more than 7,000 people from 12 villages in the remote mountains and yet it has no proper electricity supply, no treated water supply, no telephone and is affected by structural defects in the clinic and also at the living quarters for the nurses and medical assistants.
