ACCOUNTING undergraduates from Curtin University Sarawak and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) can become chartered certified accountants in a shorter timeframe after both universities signed an agreement with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
The agreement enables students who are pursuing accredited accounting degree programmes to start taking ACCA Accelerate scheme exams in the third year of their degree programme and graduate with both the degree and ACCA professional qualification at the same time.
