Night of the moon fairy

In conjunction with the Mid- Autumn Festival, The Mines shopping centre organised a lantern festival for 30 underprivileged children from Ti-Ratana Welfare Society.

The event area was decked out with more than 150 hand-painted lanterns by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) students from the Secretariat Pesta Tanglung and Secretariat Pesta AngPow as well as the Zhong Hua Cultural Arts Society from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
