Parade promotes unity among the different races

1 People from all walks of life taking part in the lantern parade in Bayan Baru.

IT was an evening of fun and excitement for some 200 people of all ages who took part in a lantern parade in Bayan Baru, Penang.

Children happily carried lanterns of all shapes and sizes — from roosters, dragons and squids to Doraemon, Ultraman, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh.
