THE Penang Island City Council mobilised more than 120 workers to clear uprooted trees and debris after a storm swept through several parts of the island.

Its Corporate Department director Mohamed Akhbar Mustapha said the council’s Rapid Squad personnel were deployed as soon as they were informed.
