Official name: Sultan Ibrahim signs the plaque at the new Masjid Tunku Laksamana Abdul Jalil in the Johor police headquarters.

JOHOR BARU: The Tunku Laksamana’s love for the police force led to the new mosque at the state police headquarters being named after him.

Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, who launched the RM20.3mil Masjid Tunku Laksamana Abdul Jalil here, said that the name of the new mosque was apt as his son had always wanted to be a policeman from young.
