CHEK Hup Sdn Bhd will give away 5,000 packs of its “King three-in-one white coffee” to The Star readers at 10 locations nationwide.
Chek Hup managing director Joseph Tan said the giveaway was in conjunction with its 50th anniversary.
“From just a small company we started in 1965, we have grown and now we are exporting our products to 15 countries,” he said after a presentation ceremony on Thursday.
“What better way to celebrate the anniversary than to give out our white coffee to readers,” he said.
“We are looking forward to giving something back to the people,” he added.
Also present were Star Media Group advertising representative Cheryl Yew and audience management sales representative S. Bathiban.
The packets of white coffee will be given away at Ipoh, Penang, Alor Setar, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Malacca, Seremban, Johor Baru and Kuching between Sept 6 to Oct 18.
Tan said their very own three-in-one differs from other premixed coffee brands because it uses rock sugar and has no added artificial flavours.
“Our loyal consumers will know the difference.
“We also made our own unique blend of coffee mix, utilising our ‘golden ratio’ of arabica and robusta coffee beans,” he said.
“So through our giveaway, we hope to share our white coffee with those who are still not aware of us,” he added.
Readers have to cut out four mastheads of this newspaper published during the redemption week to redeem the white coffee.
Redemption is limited to a packet of white coffee per reader.
