MIRI: A sudden storm with gale force wind lashed Miri City yesterday and uprooted big trees and signboards in various parts of the city.
The morning and early afternoon hours were sunny and hot but at about 2.30pm the sky turned dark with storm clouds and ferocious wind pounded the city for about an hour leaving a trail of havoc in several places.
