DBKL director-general appointed as new KL mayor

Datuk Mohd Amin Nordin Abdul Aziz will take over as Kuala Lumpur mayor

It has been confirmed that the next Kuala Lumpur mayor will be current Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) director-general Datuk Mohd Amin Nordin Abdul Aziz.

The 59-year-old will take over the duties of existing mayor Tan Sri Ahmad Phesal Talib, whose tenure expires on July 17.
