DBKL to shut dirty markets


KUALA Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Licensing and Petty Traders Management Department has warned traders that the markets will be closed for extended periods if the cleanliness is not satisfactory.

A department spokesman said DBKL had closed Pudu, Chow Kit and Selayang Wholesale markets for a thorough cleaning.
