Last tin dredge under repairs

REPAIR works are currently being carried out by the state government to salvage the nation’s only surviving tin dredge in Tanjung Tualang.

State Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohd Radzi (BN-Tualang Sekah) said the tin dredge, previously managed by the Malaysian Chamber of Mines, is now under the care of the state through its development arm, Mentri Besar Incorporated.
