Ipoh folk are buying as many items as possible before the rise in prices

THE weekend before the Goods and Services Tax (GST) kicks in, hypermarkets and department stores were packed with Ipoh folk looking to stock up on groceries.

Many popular items came with attractive promotional prices, such as Milo, Maggi noodles, chocolates, detergents and Nestle products.
