Subsidised makeover for flats

Clean look: Twelve blocks of flats at Subang Perdana Goodyear Court 2 were given a fresh coat of paint under the state government’s Skim Ceria.

THERE is a long waiting list for the state government’s Skim Ceria fund for joint management bodies (JMB) of low- and medium-cost flats.

Subang Jaya assemblyman Hannah Yeoh said under the scheme, the state would provide 80% of the amount required while 20% was borne by the JMBs.
