SOME 1,400 senior citizens went back happy after receiving Chinese New Year goodies during the Chap Goh Meh celebration at the open space car park in Campbell Street, Penang.
Tanjong Gerakan division chairman Oh Tong Keong said the charity event had been held annually for the past 19 years.
