Baby hornbills need extra protection

MIRI: Nature lovers in Miri have called on the state authorities to do more to make secure the Piasau Nature Reserve where new baby hornbills have been found.

There is a need to fence up the forested areas where these hornbills are found to prevent poachers or hunters from attempting to capture or shoot these birds, a concerned expatriate told Sarawak Metro yesterday.
