DAP plans to target rural communities

KUCHING: DAP hopes to gain between three and five rural seats in the next Sarawak Election, says its state chief Chong Chieng Jen.

Chong said the Opposition party was confident of achieving the target given its rural outreach programmes, such as “Impian Sarawak”, as well as setting up more service centres at places far from its stronghold in the cities.
