Caught for illegally tapping water

It may seem easy to tap into free water supply and not get caught, but it didn't work out that way for two stall owners along Jalan Dewan Sultan Sulaiman in Kuala Lumpur.

During a joint operation by the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) and water concessionaire Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) on Jan 29, they discovered that the restaurants had stolen water by installing a pipe outside its premises and connecting it to the main water supply system.
