Lower entry requirement to address worker shortage

KUCHING: Lowering the technical education entry requirement for Sarawakians and Sabahans is the right thing to do as the shortage of skilled workers is a long-standing problem.

In the construction industry, the scarcity of trained personnel has caused delays and even higher costs, due to rectification works required when products delivered are unsatisfactory.
