RM1mil grant offer to rejuvenate old Butterworth town has no takers so far

THE response to Think City Sdn Bhd’s RM1mil grant offer to help rejuvenate old Butterworth town has been rather lukewarm.

Think City Butterworth programme director R. Murali said since the grant was launched on Dec 19 last year, the organisation had so far received only 15 calls, out of which eight were expected to submit applications before the deadline on Jan 31.
