BUTTERWORTH: Morning commuters had a jolt when they saw thick smoke billowing from one of the Penang ferries heading to the island from Butterworth.
A check with the Penang Port Sdn Bhd revealed that the Pulau Payar had encountered an engine malfunction about midway into the journey at about 8.30am yesterday.
