A twist to tutu skirts

The word 'Tutu' is really French baby talk for Cul-Cul – meaning your bottom. According to an old folks’ tale, the term 'Tutu' was first used by commoners who were always seated in the lower levels of the ballet theatres. Looking up at the dancers, they would naturally see beneath the skirts of the ballerinas! And that’s how the word 'Tutu' came about!

Tutu has made a fashion come-back over the past few months. While this style may just be a fad, it’s still nice to experiment with them while it’s still in style.
