A good move
If you’re looking to book flights on AirAsia Move, you’ll soon notice that there are more flight options on the travel booking app.
That’s because in the second quarter of 2026, AirAsia Move is expanding its global connectivity with the addition of four direct airline partners: Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir and Hainan Airlines.
“Travel across Asean is evolving rapidly, with travellers demanding greater choice and seamless control all on one platform. As a flights-first OTA (online travel agency), expanding our network offering is core to our mission,” says Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia Move, in a press statement.
Through Oman Air, the national flag carrier of Oman, travellers can enjoy premium connectivity to the kingdom and its wider global network.
Uzbekistan Airways, the national airline of Uzbekistan, allows travellers to explore more of Central Asia via its capital city Tashkent. This provides seamless connectivity for the rising number of travellers who are interested in visiting Silk Road destinations.
FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s largest privately owned low-cost carrier, gives travellers more affordable connectivity between Kuala Lumpur and Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo. This includes onward reach to Lahore (Pakistan), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Chennai (India).
Last but not least, Hainan Airlines, which is headquartered in Hainan, China. It is one of the country’s largest full-service carriers, offering not only international routes across Asia, Europe and North America, but also domestic access from hubs in Haikou, Beijing, Chongqing, Shenzhen and Xi’an.
The four airlines join 75 other notable global carriers that are partnered directly with AirAsia Move.
The platform also has a selection of about 700 other airlines, and offers access to other services such as airport transfers, attractions, online duty-free shopping, travel insurance and hotel bookings.
