The Kdrama Little Women, starring Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Wi Ha-joon and Park Ji-hu, is currently one of the most-watched shows on the streaming platform Netflix.

The series, a modern take on Louisa May Alcott’s famous book of the same name, revolves around the lives of three sisters who are trying to make the best of a bad situation, after getting entangled in a conspiracy involving the rich and powerful.

If you’ve seen the show, you probably would have noticed that some of the scenes actually look pretty familiar. That’s because parts of the show were filmed in Singapore, featuring several of the country’s popular spots.

These scenes mostly only involve two of the actors – Kim, who plays Oh In-ju, and Wi, who plays Choi Do-il – and they were filmed in several places in Singapore. Here are four of the areas visitors can now check out to recreate the show’s scenes!

1. Keppel Bay

Keppel Bay is located in the southern part of Singapore, between Sentosa Island and the main island. This is where most locals go to enjoy recreational activities like cycling, walking, running, and picnicking. It’s also a good place to catch the sunset. Nearby, you can find an icon of modern architecture – Reflections At Keppel Bay featuring mesmerising forms that epitomise artist Daniel Libeskind’s world-class designs for his first residential development in Asia.

2. Marina Bay

One of Singapore’s top attractions, Marina Bay is located in the central area of island. It is home to some of the city’s distinctive architectural icons, including the Marina Bay Sands and Esplanade. You can expect to see power suits and briefcases while joggers pound the pavement and cyclists whizz by alfresco cafes. Walk along the scenic waterfront promenade decorated with artistic sculptures that lead you right to the water’s edge of Marina Reservoir, where you’ll probably come across kite flyers, dragon boat races, even musical performances.

3. Gardens By The Bay

Gardens By The Bay is a nature park spanning 101ha, set in the heart of Singapore’s downtown adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens – Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden. It is also home to a diverse collection of over 1.5 million plants that hail from almost every continent. There’s always something blooming in the Gardens. Spend an afternoon with unusual plants from around the world in the cooled conservatories, swing by the OCBC Skyway for spectacular views from 22m above ground, and check out the ongoing programmes for a fun-filled day for the entire family!

4. Boat Quay

Boat Quay is a historical quay in the country situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River on its southern bank, where you can find some of the best bars, pubs and restaurants in the city.
