The world’s first commercially operated flight using the Boeing 737 Max 8 took off from KL International Airport on May 22. The Malindo Air flight landed in Singapore at 11.30am.

Malindo, which was the Centre of Aviation’s 2016 Asia Pacific Regional Airline of the Year, will also be undergoing a re-branding to Batik Malaysia in the second half of the year said Malindo Air’s CEO Chandran Rama Muthy.
