Social media users have no shortage of imagination when it comes to finding new beauty tips. The idea is to help make everyone's lives easier, and (especially) to get their latest hacks trending online.

This appears to be the case with the "double blush" trick – also found on TikTok under the name "blush combo" – which is currently proving a hit with up to several hundred thousand views per video.

The aim is simple: to optimise the effects of blush by using not one, but two such products.

Of course, it's not a question of layering any old blushes, but of using very specific products. In fact, for this technique, you'll need a liquid blush and a powder blush, as well as two brushes suited to these product textures.

Opinions vary on TikTok, but it seems that the majority of users prefer bright shades for the liquid blush and softer ones for the powder.

Once these products and tools have been assembled, it's time to get down to business. And it's child's play for those who already know how to handle blush.

The first step is to apply one or two dots of liquid blush to each cheekbone, then blend to achieve the desired healthy-glow effect.

Now it's time to enhance these initial results by applying a powder blush. This technique not only accentuates the healthy-glow effect, but also ensures a beauty look that lasts all day long.

And judging by the many comments posted under the videos outlining this trick, it looks like the method is winning over users of the Chinese social network.

This was seen with the "glazed blush" trend, combining liquid blush, powder blush and highlighter, the "L Shape" blush hack for foolproof application, and the "sunset blush" effect, a top trend for this season. – AFP Relaxnews
