Often reserved for Roaring Twenties theme parties and sometimes associated with extravagant costumes performing drag queens wear, anything fringed is making a fashionable comeback.

Flirty and flowy, this tassel-like wonder is all an outfit needs for you to sashay in style, day or night.

What we love most about the fringe is that it has a whimsical quality, which gives any frock a pop of personality. The lively, decorative element practically flows with every step, adding some joy to our daily lives.

So, why not dive into the fun, and frolic in fringed outfits?

Our favourite fringe has to be the one from Bottega Veneta’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection. It is in a pale blue colour, and what’s unique about it is that it overlays a printed skirt, almost like a protective cocoon.

Another Italian label, Gucci, goes all-out glam with the fringe trend where an acid green coat is accented with glittering fringe that sparkles and shines as you move.

Fancy fringes are also evident at Givenchy as they are crafted from pearls, glass and crystals, forming a dazzling dress made of everything fringe rather than fabric.

The menswear collection from the French brand also features an eye-catching addition of fringe, presented in the form of a black macramé shawl adorned with long, swishy embellishments along its border.

The fringe is both intricate and dramatic at Ralph Lauren as the designer accents his light gold lace overcoat with lots of fringe for a showstopping finish.

French brand Maje’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection includes a handbag glammed up with grommet and fringe accents.

At Alexander McQueen, a sweater is worn with a fringed leather skirt, effortlessly blending comfort with an undeniable cool factor.

The pairing of the casual sweater against the striking fringe of the skirt lends a touch of edgy sophistication to the ensemble.

If you’re still unsure about wearing anything with fringe, just give it a try – one stylish flick of the flirty threads you might end up having a thing for fringe.
