Stars of dimsum’s hottest new Thai series My Dear Loser Series: Monster Romance, Lee and Mook, got Malaysian fans eating out of their hands during a recent promotional tour in Klang Valley.
It was the first stop of the tour as well as their very first time in Malaysia, so the two actors got a roaring welcome from their supporters during fan-meets conducted at Sunway Pyramid and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Mook (real name Worranit Thawornwong), 22, and Lee (real name Thanat Lowkhunsombat), 25, play a mismatched couple in the 10-episode Thai drama.
The series starts off with the prim-and-proper rich girl Namking (Mook) getting into an accident with Pong (Lee), who is the rebellious leader of a motorcycle gang. The two fall in love but begin to encounter many obstacles.
Just like the characters they play in the drama, Lee and Mook are both romantics at heart so they do believe in love at first sight as well as predestined love.
Mook said: “I believe that some things are destined, so that means I will meet the right person, at the right time.”
Lee added: “The very first time you meet each other, you will already know if the other person is the right one!”
