For music lovers, no summer is complete without a festival. Nothing beats feeling the sun on your skin, dancing to songs by your favourite bands and being completely caught up in the moment. Yet, the sound level at some festivals can literally be deafening.
“The music at concerts, festivals or clubs often reaches similar or higher sound levels than a chainsaw,” says Andre Siegl, an expert in occupational safety and health at German inspection agency TUV.
