Long, hot sunny days are not only difficult to bear for humans, but for our four-legged companions as well. While for us, a quick cold shower or a fan can work wonders, many animals react sensitively to such home remedies, which in some cases can even be life-threatening for them.

Here are some tips from the German Animal Welfare Association on how to safely keep your pet cool on a hot day.
