High blood pressure for women in their 40s could mean a higher risk of developing dementia according to new research.

A new US study suggests that for women in their 40s, high blood pressure could be a risk factor linked to developing dementia.

Led by Dr Rachel A. Whitmer of Kaiser Permanente Division of Research in Oakland, California, the research looked at 7,238 men and women who were part of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California health care system.
