Argentine luthier Ezequiel Galasso is giving beat-up skateboards a new lease on life, recycling them into one-of-a-kind electric guitars.
In one corner of a workshop in Almagro, Buenos Aires’ up-and-coming tango district, luthier, skateboard decks stripped of their black grip tape and wheels are piled high. In another, luthier Ezequiel Galasso is working a pedal-powered carpentry machine, turning the old boards into electric guitars.
