Buds launches household range

Buds Household Eco range

Organic skincare and personal care brand Buds Organics has now launched cleaning products said to be baby-safe and free from harsh chemicals.

The Buds Household Eco range includes the Baby Safe Laundry Detergent and Baby Safe Fabric Softener for baby clothing, Baby Safe Bottle & Utensil Cleaner for baby’s accessories, Baby Safe Anti-Bac Toy & Surface Cleaner for cleaning toys, cot, baby furniture and Baby Safe Anti-Bac Floor Cleaner.

“Bud’s driving principle has always been about helping parents keep their babies safe from environmental hazards and unnecessary exposure to chemicals while caring for the environment as well. Hence, our product taglines - Powered by Nature and No Nasties,” said Soo Siew Peng, managing director of I-Green Malaysia, Buds Organics' parent company.

The cleaning range is certified by Ecocert under its Natural Detergent standards. Ecocert is one of the most recognised certification bodies in the world with the strictest of standards.

According to I-Green, the Buds Household Eco range does not contain artificial fragrances or colourants, making it safe and environmentally friendly. In addition, organic essential oils are used to leave a pleasant scent. All formulations are highly biodegradable.

At the launch event, consultant paediatrician Dr Azam Mohd Nor presented a talk on Infants & Toddlers: Exposure to household irritants.

The Buds Household Eco products are priced from RM29.90 to RM49.90 each.

The Buds Household Eco range is now available at Mothercare, Mom’s Care, selected Marmours outlets, online store Babydash and other major baby outlets.
