Why do teenagers run away?

For desperate teens, sometimes, running away may seem like the only way to escape.

In Malaysia, such as it is elsewhere in the world, the majority of missing/runaway children do so due to family conflicts (i.e. domestic violence, parent drug/sex abuse, neglect, divorcing parents, etc) and peer pressure/influence.
